Privacy policy

Study data on your device

Your answers, progress, bookmarks, mistakes, preferences and reminder settings are stored locally. Android backup may include local app data according to your device and Google account settings. The app has no developer account registration or advertising. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.

Analytics

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand usage and improve study and purchase flows. It processes app-instance identifiers, device and operating-system information, app version, usage events and purchase-related events. Events include app opens, onboarding, study and mock-test activity, paywall views, purchase attempts, completed purchases and restores. Google may derive approximate country or regional information from network information. Study analytics include question identifiers, whether an answer was correct and overall scores; the selected answer text is not sent.

Analytics collection is enabled in this version, which does not include an in-app analytics switch. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are disabled. This information is not necessarily anonymous. Firebase transmits analytics data using encryption. Google processes data under its applicable service terms and may use subprocessors and infrastructure outside your country. See Firebase privacy and security and Google's privacy policy.

Purchases

Google Play processes subscriptions and the one-time lifetime purchase. The app queries purchase status and uses purchase identifiers and tokens to acknowledge purchases and enable or restore access. We do not receive your payment-card details. Purchase-related analytics may include the product and transaction information. RevenueCat is not used by this Android app.

Retention, deletion and contact

Local study data remains until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it; device backups are managed separately through Android. Google Play retains transaction records according to its policies. Analytics records are subject to the configured Google Analytics retention settings; aggregated reports may remain longer.

For support or a request to access, correct or delete personal data, email dttquestionreport@gmail.com with the app name and your request. We may need information to identify the relevant record and will explain when data cannot be linked to you or must be retained. Please do not send payment-card details or passwords. Support messages and your email address are used to respond to your request.

This app is intended for people aged 16 and over preparing for a UK car theory test. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.

Terms of use

This app is an independent educational practice tool, not a test-booking service or government publication. Practice results do not guarantee an official test pass or licence. Verify current rules and requirements with GOV.UK. Hazard perception must be prepared for separately.

Free and paid access are identified in the app. Available subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play. The purchase screen shows the applicable price and billing period before you confirm. Lifetime access is a one-time, non-renewing purchase for this app. Restore purchases using the same Google Play account. Manage subscriptions, cancellations and refund requests through Google Play under its applicable terms; your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
